Technical Maintenance and Specialized Service on Fire Fighting Superstructures:

• Background
  
  Marcé operates several mobile workshops in Southern Africa. These workshops are dedicated to the support the complete spectrum of all types of fire fighting equipment. Personnel in our service department are responsible for executing technical and operational request for customers and are dedicated service personnel.
  
  Senior personnel have been trained by our International Manufacturers of fire fighting equipment and vehicles on the service and maintenance of vehicles, pumps and components. They transfer their skills and expertise to all other service personnel on a daily basis. Any of our personnel can do a basic fire service on a vehicle at the premises of the client. It does happen that major repairs or electronic problems may only be solved with the assistance of our engineers in our well equipped workshop.
  
  
• Client base
  
  We maintain all brands of fire fighting vehicles at municipalities, airports and industrial sites in Southern Africa on their premises. It is almost never needed to withdraw a vehicle from operational service for service or smaller technical problems. Most problems on the fire fighting side of the vehicle are normally attended to at site. Only major repairs are taken to our workshops limiting downtime of the vehicle.
  
  
• Type and Nature of work
  
  Our technicians are capable of executing routine services on site, pump tests, pump services, pump refurbishments, major component refurbishment e.g. monitors, vehicle refurbishments, servicing of locker doors and electronic fault finding on the vehicle as a whole.
  
  
• Spare Parts
  
  Most spare parts are available ex stock but certain parts might be imported and are subject to a one to two week delivery period depending on stock levels. Spare parts will be available for at least a period of 10 years after selling a vehicle.
  
  
• Technical Ability
  
  Marcé has in the past been responsible for the maintenance of fire fighting vehicles at ACSA airports, Municipalities, Industrial Fire Services and SA Air Force bases on their military air force fire engines. Marcé has the capability to service and maintain any Fire Fighting product offered in the Fire Fighting Industry.
